HVS does a great job not just covering the time that I can’t be with her, but also creating an environment that matches our family values. My daughter spends her time at school in the outdoors in the gardens, the woods and the playground and indoors doing art, cooking, singing, playing and socializing with other kids. The school itself is simple, uncluttered, tidy. The staff are exceptionally friendly, patient and good role models. HVS even contracts with the state to keep our tuition level appropriate to our family’s income. “Happy Valley has everything you could hope for in a preschool. The teachers are caring and attentive, helping children navigate play and friendship while fostering their independence and creativity. Outside is a landscape designed for childhood— in addition to the traditional swings and play structures, there is plenty of room to run and explore and spots to “hide” away and let imagination take over. The chickens, gardens, hikes, and trips to the high tunnel only add to the fun. We will be sorry to leave Happy Valley for kindergarten, but forever grateful for the treasured memories we have made there.”
